You have a measument application, you have a short working-distance, and you have to put the whole system into a small space. Are you asking for the impossible? No!
This flat-field lens eliminates the barrel distortion visible in most wide angle lenses. The lack of distortion combined with unrestricted working distance makes this lens ideal for machine vision system prototypes. When space is restricted this lens will save your application.

This lens might well be deployed in the most demanding machine vision application ever. The high-speed, large format camera used here can't wait for photons to dribble in through slow optics.
