Computer Optics Inc. - Limited Warranty

Computer Optics Inc herein referred to as COI warrants all items when purchased new to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. COI at its option will repair or replace any equipment showing defects within one year of the date of purchase by the original buyer. This warranty covers equipment which has been properly installed and used. It does NOT cover damage which occurs in shipment nor failure which results from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or faulty installation. COI makes no further warranty, either express or implied including any warranty of merchantability or fitness. In no event will COI be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, including damage to any closed circuit video equipment.

Repair and Return Policy

1. All returns must have a RMA number issued by Computer Optics Inc.
2. Freight on all returns must be prepaid. No collect freight returns will be accepted.
3. Any lens returned and tested non-defective is subjected to an evaluation charge.
4. Advance replacement of a defective lens requires a new purchase order. Lenses older than 60 days from original invoice will not be advance replaced. Credit will be issued on returned lenses after verification of warranty defect. Lenses will be returned to customer with an evaluation charge if no defect is found.
5. Warranty repairs and replacements will be done at no charge and returned to the customer prepaid.
6. Non warranty repairs are subject to repair charges. Customer will be notified prior to repair only for estimated repair charge over $500.00, unless customer requests an estimate prior to repair.

Returns for credit or exchange

1. There is a 20 % restocking fee on all returns due to customer ordering error, exchange for different lens or order cancellation after shipment.
2. No returns are accepted on discounted lenses or lenses ordered with special modifications.
3. All returns for credit must be in new and unused condition with original packaging.
